This Privacy Policy explains how Zaycode (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile application QR GENERATOR (the “App”), a tool to create and save QR codes. For more information visit zaycode.com. By using the App you agree to this policy.
QR GENERATOR is designed to keep your data on your device. QR codes are generated on-device, and the content you enter (text, links, contact details, and the codes you save) and your preferences are stored locally on your phone. We do not operate user accounts, we do not upload your codes or their content to our servers, and we cannot read them.
The Android version of the App is free and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, such as a device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from IP, and ad-interaction data. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller.
To let you know when a newer version is available, the App may query the Apple App Store (via Apple’s public lookup service) and/or fetch a small static version file we host. These requests do not include personal data.
Because your data lives only on your device, uninstalling the App also removes it. Keep an export if you want a backup.
QR GENERATOR is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Since your content is stored only on your device, you can exercise these directly through the in-app controls. For questions about ad-related processing, please also refer to Google’s policies above.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, noted in the App.
